				New Years Acquisitions

What are you good folks looking for in the new year? I visit a few gun shops and find the military arms selection thin and far between. What I have seen was in NRA poor condition and the prices were sky high. So whatever I looked at is still sitting in the used gun racks. All the best...

In the local gun shop today I saw a "Good" M1911 made in 1918 for $2,000.00. It has a serial number higher than my Excellent and Very Good 1911s on establishment. I paid $19.05 for one and $100 for the better one. The pickings are pretty slim for old military arms in 2014. Adam
