grayghost,

Here in PA our Spring gobbler season opens April 30. Yesterday I worked out my 12 gauge BP load of 75 grains RS Pyro, an ounce and a quarter of #6 shot and a plastic wad.

My Resident Turkeys, here on my farm.

Today, I set out in my Polaris Ranger with loyal hound for a drive about the farm. At the end of the Tractor Road we emerged into the big hayfield and saw 40 or 50 turkeys close by all about. We did a U-turn and quickly went back to the house and let the turkeys settle down, again.

I have resident turkey, bear and deer on my farm. Since 1988, when I bought this farm, I have yet to shoot a turkey or bear. The only deer I shot were already badly wounded when I put them down.

I appreciate all my resident wildlife and give them sanctuary on my land.

Adam
