2 deer this year
This past deer season was a good one. In the first week of shotgun I shot a nice 100 lb doe with a remington 870 shotgun. I was more than happy with just one deer. But then muzzleloader season came around and I bought myself an Omega and just had to shoot something with it and so I did the last day of muzzleloader season I shot my first buck a 5 point running at 35 yards. Im an advid muzzleloader hunter and Im only 14 and already I have shot two deer and both were running.

Sound like small deer...but good thing you got 'em. I find it unsafe and unethical to shoot at a running deer, and it is a disappointment to hear of youth taking these kinds of shots. It's nothing to boast about. Such shots can lead to a bad shot placement and are therefore unethical to shoot. Shooting at running targets is dangerous in the idea that you can't pay attention to what is behind the target, and may miss only to see the blaze orange behind that "other tree" after you pulled the trigger. Keep it safe and keep it ethical, so everyone enjoying this sport can have a good time.

Yeah, I agree with Rem 700. I try not to shoot at running deer unless I am able to pick out the shot really well or I have wounded them. Even then, a wounded deer is better than a wounded or killed person, so make sure you can pick the shot pretty well when you are shooting at running targets.
As Rocky Raab stated in another post, we tend to have adrenalin rushes when we are about to pull the trigger and it causes tunnel vision. So, make sure you know what the background is that the deer is running to. Some safe shots are downward at a deer running through a large clear field.
