Teal, Wood Duck and Canada Geese

Our September Canada season opened the 1st and runs through the 15th. In our Mid-TN zone the limit is 5 per person per day. Teal and Woodies opened on the 10th and runs until the 15th. Daily limits are: 4 Teal or, 2 Teal and 2 Woodies. No more than 2 Woodrows per day. So far my friends who relish the heat, mosquitos, wasps and assorted late summer tortures have done fair. I'm saving my bullets for Arkansas this year. The thirty or forty wild ducks that will show up sometime in December in our local Tennessee area will quickly make fast friends with the boat dock crowd and spend the winter dining on bread and cheetos. Once a mallard gets to weighing 7 or 8 pounds, they just take the fun out of centering them with a load of #1's. Good hunting, grayghost
