It depends
Chinese SKS rifles and carbines seem to be getting harder to find and the least expensive on the used gun racks. I see them at the local shop for $125.00 to $175.00. Prices are dependent on condition and accessories. The Yugoslav SKS rifles with the grenade launch and sights sell for about the same price as the Chinese. Russian SKS rifles seen to fetch a little more, same with Hungarian and Romanian models. Hope this helps. All the best...

It depends
These SKS rifles shoot 7.62x39mm ammo and prices vary widely. Winchester and Remington are probably more costly (and are boxer-primed and reloadable). Imported military ammo is usually cheaper and berdan primed and not reloadable. So it depends on your preference. All the best...
