Favorite surplus arms magazine

I am curious what magazine(s) you prefer regarding surplus arms. Years ago, I was impressed with Guns and Ammo and Shooting Times. However, they seem to have very few surplus arms articles these days. My preferences are The American Rifleman and Guns magazine. What are your favorite surplus arms magazines? All the best...

Gil,

I agree with you that there are very few indepth historical military arms articles worth reading in many gun magazines. Bruce Canfield does a fine job in the "American Rifleman."

Might I suggest you submit some of your knowledge in a few articles to some gun magazines to fill the current void? I understand you once did such writing for a local paper and had a column "Nothing But Guns" that was well received. Just go to the next level. Best of luck and you can use photos of your collection to enhance your texts.

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday.
