Winchester Super X-2

I bought a new 12 gauge Winchester Super X-2 last month and am very pleased with it. Mine is the "Sporting Clays" model with the 30" barrel. It has a dull/sandblast finish on the metal and a satin finish on the wood.

Some wholesalers were closing these out at $530 since the Super X-3 is now in production.

I've shot several rounds of skeet and sporting clays with it using both factory and handloads. Swings nice, and is "barrel-heavy" which helps with my swing follow-thru. Minimal recoil with the 1 oz. promo loads from WAL-MART.

Its a nice gun for the money, and very similar to the Browning Gold Hunter (with a less glossy finish). Its worth taking a look at if you're seeking a new autoloader.

For $530, you really cannot beat it.
