Big Ol Box Part 2
Ok so I have been through this thing (Didn't remember to bring the list with me to work today sorry guys) and half of the ammunition has NO indication what it is even for. I also noticed that the bag of "loose" ammunition and brass in the bottom of the box had a dozen or so rounds of brass with a primer impact but it apparently was a dud.
I don't know that I want to send this stuff anybodies way if there is a chance any of it might be duds (or even worse dangerous). On the other hand almost all of the brass looks to be in good shape. Do you think I should pull the bullets using a impact bullet puller and just offer the brass and bullets up for trade? Need opinions here guys because I am at a loss as to what to do. PS the twenty rounds or so of really nasty looking ammunition have been buried out in the yard about 3' deep with a posthole digger. GoodOlBoy

JMO...if you are going to pull, use a Colet puller!!!! Still don't know if I'd try decaping before soaking cases in alcohol then wear safety glasses and do it while they are wet!!!! If berdain primed, toss em.

It depends
These folks have given good advice. I would pull the bullets on cases that appear to be in rough condition. The other cartridges need to be identified. I would measure the bullet diameter and case length and try to identify them. If all else fails, take them to a gun show and sell them "as is". All the best...

Safety first
I agree with Gil and would pull what bullets I could to render the crudy ammo safe for disposal. I have a whole box of odds and ends ammo in decent condition that I collected over the years. Take care...
