We are full of them. They are everywhere. The best place to shoot on in the burbs of Boston cause they are not hunted due to alot of things but mostly liberal pol's.

Birds have a zipped lip in NW PA. All henned up at the moment. Even saw two jakes with hen on Wed. I'd say they'll start talking next week real good, as the hens will be more tenative to the nests. Whacked my first of two on Wednesday. Nice 2 year old, but he came in quiet...Actually called the hen in and he was in tow.

Seems like plenty of birds this year but they sure are quiet at the moment. It's not as fun when they aren't talking, but I'll take a nice longbeard anyway I can. I plan on hunting next week and whacking another once they get back to responding to a call, then hopefully off to NY in a couple weeks. Last trip up there I saw 21 longbeards during my 3 hr drive North. If it goes as planned I'll get 5 this spring. I'm already at 2 for 2 in 2 states.
