Texas

I just got back from an awesome waterfowl hunt in Texas with 2 of my sons and a grandson. We drove and it sure was a long hike but well worth it. Birds were everywhere- got to hunt flooded rice, in blinds on the bay, and in stubble. I took my dog Rusty and he handled super but I think he will be remembered down there as the black lab that slept and snored between retrieves. I cant say enough about the variety and quantity of birds we hunted which I dont see here on the eastern shore. I am not mentioning the name of the outfitter I used out of respect for HuntChat as they are not one of our sponsors but the accomodations, guide, food (oh man the food!!!!!!) were great. This was my first trip to Texas and I am impressed with all that state has to offer It was a GO BACK. cant wait for next year

I'm jealous. Let me know if you head down there next year and wouldn't mind company. I really need to start doing some hunting. Going twice for doves this year isn't cutting it.
