Nulle: Mind if I ask who from Moorcroft got the dog? I got some good friends over there that were looking for a dog and was just wondering if it was them. Also there is a breeder/trainer over there, well actually in Rozet that is always on the lookout for good dogs.

Nulle,
Did the dog go to Billy D.? If so, that is great news. I was hoping he would get it. I was actually thinking about recommending the dog to my dad because my mom and dad love Nitro and they have been missing him since I moved out of the house 6 months ago. However, I figured he would be in a new home before my parents could ever make a decision about it and I could relay it back to you. Glad to hear that the dog has a new home, and if it is with Billy D. I am even happier.

Bill: The fella that "used" to own your new dog called right after you left and he has your address and will send the papers right out to you.
Keep me posted because I want to be sure that you get them. Hope you two had a good bonding trip home buddy.

Nulle & Billy,
Both of you fellers are some good peoples, that there is a fine lookin dog, and it's great when even 1 dog out of the thousands that need it, goes to a good home. Thank you both. Dont leave that dog out of the race either..he might very well make a fine huntin dog. I took a dog in that a "freind-of-a-freind" had..said it wouldnt run. I kept him fer 4 weeks and named him Johnny Reb..the white patches that was sprinkled across his back almost looked as if he was carryin the stars-n-bars lol..got all buddy-buddy with him..great dog..and he ran! Not too shabby either..a lil fine tunin and he'll be ready to go.. Well...I took the dogs out one day..he ran great w/ the dogs! Till I shot the rabbit that is..the fool wouldn't bring the rabbit back to me..he'd eat it...tear it all to peices. By the time I shot the 4th rabbit..I had had enough..and Scooter and him got to fightin over the rabbit. Well, she got it and was bringin it to me as if to say "Look here you retard, this here is how you do it."..and he went after her. One thing I caint stand is fightin dogs...so I went over there..and I cussed an fussed at that dog like a old maid. He slunkered down and took it like a 4 yr old child..lol And iffin anybody woulda seen me..I probaly looked like I was nuts...cause I was justa givin that dog what fer over that..and I was justa preachin. "Now you stop doin that er I'll whoop you like a red-headed stepchild!" Scooter just stood there waggin her tail and gloatin..LMAO..I can remember it as if it were yesterday. You know..that fool dog never done it again..and he started bringin them rabbits right to me till he died 4 yrs ago. Anyways..good luck to you Billy..keep us posted.

LILRED, NULLE AND FABS
WELL I WAS UP AT THE CRACK OF NOON YESTERDAY, MAN I HAVEN'T SLEPT THAT LONG SINCE MY BACK SURGERY. WOKE UP AND THERE WAS FRITZ, SLEEPING NEXT THE BED ON THE FLOOR. HE HAS HIS TRRRITORY ALL MARKED NOW. FIRST THING IN THE HOUSE WE ENTERED THE ENTRYWAY OFF THE KITCHEN, HE WALKS OVER TO THE REFRIGERATOR, THINKS HUMM, THERES FOOD IN THERE AFTER HE GAVE IT A WIFF, THATS MINE, LIFTS HIS LEG, PSSST. GOES FROM THE KITCHEN TO THE DINNING ROOM, CHINA HUTCH, THATS MINE, PSSST. INTO THE LIVING ROOM, SOFA THATS MINE, PSSST. GOES INTO THE MASTER BEDROOM, THATS THE BOSSES BED, PSSST. I WANT TO TELL YOU I WAS SURE BUSY WITH MOP AND SPONGE FOR AWHILE. THAT DOG FIRED FASTER THAN A GATLING GUN. BEING A KENNEL DOG I WASN'T EXPECTING MUCH, BUT HE'S REALLY GOOD IN THE HOUSE, OTHER THAN THE THATS MINE THING HE'S GREAT. HE DOESN'T LIKE DIRTY LAUNDRY THOUGH. I HAVE THE HAMPER IN MY BATHROOM AND HE KNOCKED IT OVER AND HAULED ALL THE DIRTY CLOTHES OUT INTO THE BACK YARD. SURE IS NICE TO SEE YOUR FRUIT OF THE LOOMS ALL OVER THE YARD. HE WAS PRETTY GOOD IN THE TRUCK COMING BACK. EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE HE WOULD COME AND VISIT IN THE FRONT SEAT, HE JUST WANTED TO HELP BY TAKING OVER THE DRIVING CHORES AND I APPRECIATED IT BUT WE HAD A LITTLE ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT SESSION AND HE WAS RELEGATED TO THE BACK SEAT AGAIN. TOOK HIM OUT TO MY FRIENDS RANCH/FARM YESTERDAY WHERE I KEEP MY HORSE AND THEY GOT INTRODUCED, FRITZ LOOKED UP AT OL' DAN AND HAD THIS "THATS THE BIGGEST DOG I EVER SEEN LOOK ON HIS FACE", OL' DAN JUST LOOKED DOWN AT FRITZ WITH THIS LOOK LIKE WHATS PIPSQUEAK DOING IN MY STALL LOOK ON HIS FACE. I NAMED THE HORSE AFTER MY BROTHER IN LAW. THE FIRST TIME I SEEN THE HORSE WAS FROM THE BACK END AND THE ONLY THING I COULD THINK OF WAS MY BROTHER IN LAW. ACTUALLY IT'S A DUAL NAME. HE'S ALSO NAMED AFTER THE THE HORSE IN JIM REEVES SONG "THE BLIZZARD". WHEN YOU SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON HORSE BACK THEY REALLY DO GET TO BE YOUR FRIEND. AIN'T NOTHIN' BETTER THAN A GOOD HOSS. WELL THERE IS BUT IT'S NOT DICUSSABLE IN A PUBLIC FORUM. I THINK I'M GOING TO TURN FRITZ OVER TO A PROFFESSIONAL TRAINER. BEING THAT HE IS AN OLDER DOG, AND NEVER RECEIVED MUCH CARE AND ATTENTION. HE IS RECEPTIVE THOUGH. I COULD TELL BY HIS INNER ACTION WITH NULLE THAT HE THOUGHT THE SUN ROSE AND SET IN NULLE'S HIP POCKET. WHEN WE LEFT THE MOTEL SHELTER FRITZ KEPT LOOKING BACK OVER HIS SHOULDER TILL IT WAS OUT OF SIGHT. BUT I'M SURE FRITZ WILL WORK OUT FINE, JUST NEEDS TIME, THATS ALL. FRITZ IS A REAL CHARMER, WHEN EVER YOU TALK TO HIM HE COCKS HIS HEAD WITH THIS INQUISITVE LOOK ON HIS FACE AND HIS LITTLE TAIL IS WAGGING SO FAST YOU CAN BARELY SEE IT. I JUST LOVE HIM. ON THE WAY BACK UP HERE I HAD SOME CUSTOM WORK DONE TO MY PICKUP. MY INTERIOR CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH A MOUSE GREY INTERIOR. THE INTERIOR IS NOW DONE IN A CAMO GERMAN WIREHAIR. THIS AFTERNOON I'M GOING TO VACUUM. LOL I CERTAINLY WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR CONCERN AND WELL WISHES. IT MEANS A LOT. ONE MORE THING. LET US NOT FORGET ALL THOSE WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE SO THAT WE MAY BE FREE TO LIVE THE LIFE THAT WE LIVE TODAY. WE ARE EXTREMELY FORTUNATE AND OWE IT ALL TO THOSE BRAVE WOMEN AND MEN THAT GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR US, AND IT IS ESPECIALLY TRUE FOR MY FAMILY. SHALOM.

God, I was laughing so hard from that post that I was crying. However, that post comes nowhere close to my story wherein Nitro crapped in my car while I was at the Ford dealer negotiating on my truck. I had initially bargained for trucks via e-mail from the office, and didn't want to spend more than 15 minutes at the dealership regarding this truck.
My fiance, who was my girlfriend then, was with me and when the salesman went to check with his manager for the 3rd time and after keeping us there for over an hour, just as they usually do, she went out to check on the dog. She came back and told me that he had crapped all over the car. I went out to check it out and he had pretty much stepped all over it and spread it through out the entire car. I took him out of the car and tied him to a pole so I could go back into the dealership. The manager came out and asked me what price I would be willing to pay for the truck to drive it off the lot. At this point I was pissed, so I asked him what price he would be willing to sell the truck at so that I could shop around and see if it was the best price around. He assured me that it was. I assured him that there was no way I would buy that truck that night without being able to compare prices. His response was that he didn't care because he would sell the truck regardless. So, I walked out of the dealership. My girlfriend had cleaned everything out that wasn't ground into the seat. That was a horrible ride home, but I had a tarp in the trunk and we put it on the front seats while I held the dog in the back. It was late November and we were driving home with all the windows down freezing to death. The next day, I went to another dealership near my parents that was owned by the same owner, and I had them DX the truck to me at this other dealership and they reduced the price by $100. The initial salesman called me several days later and asked me if I was still interested in the truck. I asked him if he still had it on the lot, which he assured me they did, which was impossible because I had it sitting in my driveway. After that, I told him that I found it somewhere else for less and he said that he had another $500 to work with me. My response was that he should have given me that price over the internet instead of wasting all my time. I was so pissed off that I will never buy another vehicle from that dealership. Billy, Spend a lot of time with Fritz and he will be looking out the window every time you leave the house. I think a person needs to really bond with a dog by spending a lot of time with the dog. Once that dog trusts you, he will want to do anything to please you.

Hey Billy, Glad to hear I am not the only one running around with a spray bottle. New dog I got had spent his four years in a kennel so Im doing the house breaking thing too. Just put a contract on a house with a fenced in back yard so if I get it things will be a little easier.
