IM almost done.

gona get two more rifles and im done. not buying another rifle for a long time.

my rifle list is getn close to complete.
22lr
22/250
2506
270wi
3006
300win

im going to add two more rimfires to the group and call it good. both will be ruger bolt actions one in 22lr. the other 22mag

ive got a love hate relationship with the 10/22. though i have a fair amount of money in the rifle it will be deglassed and pushed to back of the closet. ill keep it for freinds to shoot. bout 87% the time i cant stand even packing it around

the 22mag i just have to try. plus ive got a ruger hummer barrel floatn around here somewhere thats a flat out shooter.

hope to have these 2 rifles within this comeing month. glassed and ready to go. the 77/22lr will wear the 3-9vxII that currently mounted to the 10/22. and im thinking the 22mag will get a nikon monarch.

these calibers should pretty well round me out the 3006 and 300win will do anything i need done here in idaho probly most anywhere in the us for that matter.

this list is what ive ended up with and thats even after playing with the new fangled shortmags and the 204. the 17hummer may be the only new caliber that sticks with me.

its been fun getting to this point ive learned a heck of alot about my wants and needs and its cool getting to the calibers that meet my wants and needs right in the middle.

Like you i have most the center fire rifels i would need and the 300 and the 06 will shoot the heavyer rounds.
I like the idea of the 22 mag it will do ever thing the 17 will
but i would think about a big bore to .
Now comes the disclamer.
This is only a opinion and most peaple buy guns and calibers they feal they need and wouldnt be happy till they had what they want.

p.s.
I am thinking of buying a 375 only becouse it is a minimum for affrica the 338 will deliver the same energy but wont meet the minimum.
I also like the 45/70 in marlins guide gun i here the 450 is a nice
round and will do ever thing 45/70 and more.

its true this time.

its time to think wife kids family that sort of thing. not how im gona scrap together cash for the next rifle or scope. its gota stop somwhere and im drawing the line right here.

almost all my rifles have good glass mounted. ounce i get these last two then they get glass it were good.

however ounce it comes time that i need, yes need smaller caliber smaller rifle for alittle one then ill get it then. but for now the lady in my life can shoot my 2506 just fine. now i just need to get her on a deer. but were still working on that.

i dont know that shes got it in her to kill something but she likes getn out and seems to like it more and more. maybe someday that time will come when she shoots her first deer.
