War Trophy Beretta

A friend of mine has a .32 auto Beretta. This gun was purchased years ago and has the original WWII trophy papers issued October of 1945. It is a model 7.65 Brev 1915-1919. Probably 70%-80% blueing with PB on the upper portion of metal stamped grips. Serial #20XXXX. Any one know much about these pistols including what it may now be worth?

Welcome, Gustaf

Glad to see you here. WWII era firearms and the related documentation makes the Beretta .32 ACP a desirable handgun. I did alter your post to protect the serial number. It is usually not a good idea to post a complete serial number and that's why there are "Xs".

To get an idea of current value, I would refer you to some of the firearms websites such as AuctionArms, GunsAmerica and GunBroker. remember, these are auction prices and may or may not reflect the final selling price. The local gun shop had a similar 7.65mm pistol that had a hang tag price of $295.00. Not sure what it actually sold for, but that seems to be in line. Hope this helps. All the best...
Gil
