Glad to see you here and I hope you post often. There are two sites that may be able to provide the information you seek. I would try Surplus Rifle at http://www.surplusrifle.com/index.asp and Gunboards at www.gunboards.com/forums/default.asp These sites get into a lot of military detail and hope this helps.
