My Holiday wish

just wanted to send each and every one of you a special holiday thought from my house to yours. This year has been good and it has been bad. I have lost people who I have had great regard for; they have taught me things that will help me on my journeys for the rest of my days. I have met new people that have taught me tolerance, love and new perspectives. Unfortunately I have also in this last year, met persons who have disappointed and instilled a cold chill deep my my bones. Overall, I have had a good year and feel blessed as I always have, and take what I have learned, as a life lesson in this stage of my life. I hope all of you will feel as blessed as I do in your new and upcoming year. We all make jokes about New Year Resolutions and I want to state mine now. I will do my utmost to be more tolerant in things I do not understand. I also will be more diligent in my intolerance of things that I find to be a blatant assault on my fellow man. The fact you are reading this from me only means you have touched my life in this past year, and for that fact alone, my heart wants you all to walk strong, walk noble, give something back to this world, that will put a smile on someone’s face and make a wonderful difference in someone’s life. No matter how much money you will make this year and all your years to come, I will leave you with something my father told me before he died. “All you come into this world with is your name, and it will be all you take out”. My hope for all of you who have touched my life is to remember that. Merry Christmas, Valerie

Beautiful Post Val

You never cease to amaze us with your prose-whether it be the crass get-to-the-point (read "in your face") posts that have us holding our sides from laughter or more serios matters that cause deeper thought and introspection.

The above posts reflects the latter and is lovely. A very warm wish for a Merry Christmas and the best to you and yours in the coming year. May your dreams be fulfilled in ways that help you to continue to grow as a human being.

'I will leave you with something my father told me before he died. “All you come into this world with is your name, and it will be all you take out”. My hope for all of you who have touched my life is to remember that. Merry Christmas, Valerie'

Perhaps Val, that is truly what one leaves behind is the personal lives that one has touched to help make this world a better place!

I will take from you my imagined smell of gunpowder and Chanel.

I for one can't imagine anything better.

I also can't figure out how to bottle the pair for my lovely wife!.

I reckon I would be a rich man in redneck county if I could though!

Merry Christmas all!
