pa deer herd

now that Dr Gary Alt has retired, lots of the areas of pa are just barren of deer , can't blame the game commission , they just alot the licenses, do we really need need to have three doe permits or even two or such a long season fot doe also it would help if the habit was enhancedwith food plots and more opened areas on the game lands to let the sun get at the browse to let it grow , i do notice that the ares i hunt they , meaning the game commission, have opened up parts of the woods and even planted food plots to bring the deer back of course, since a lot of the hunters here in the northeast only travel as far away from their vehicles until they lose sight of it in their laser range finders, it is going to be a long recovery road, myself i'm a still hunter i do see deer and other game , other hunters and i saw it this year on the first saturday , said they saw nothing but when i came upon these hunters they were maybe 10 yards off of one of the access roads on the game lands, you just can't sit on your arse any more young fellas that is why it is called hunting sharpen your stalking skills it makes for more fun , remember you don't have to kill something to have a successful hunt, enjoy the experience
