Feist

I have a feist. She is mostly a pet, but I have hunted with them before. They make excellent squirrel dogs. Their name speaks for there characteristics. Feist are very fast, energetic to say the least, and agile. I have seen also a lot of feist/cur and feist/rat terrier mix breeds that make excellent treeing dogs as well. Some people use them for coon hunting as well, but being a smaller dog, I have seen an injured coon work them over pretty good.

I have seen some dogs out of this kennel do some great tree ratting. Don't think they are true mountian fiest as they often have a bit more Cur blood in them and are a bit larger,I hunted with Has’s Hickory Top J&K Elmo What a dog.

I want two for coon to match the large coon in the area as 2 on one is a little better odds for the dogs and I need a dog that hunts real close.
