You might even try buying him a day of skeet or trap shooting at a range somewhere. Thats usually CHEAP and a heck of alot of fun.

I figure I'm pretty safe so far since you don't know his name or where he lives.

Plus he dumped the Internet when he went to Alaska for the summer. As of last week, he still hadn't gotten it turned on again. So, he couldn't find this forum anyway.

I'll consider telling you. Maybe.

Watch this space for further updates.

GSG, I just had my dad pass on. He was also a hunter and fisherman. Think about getting him something from you that would really mean something to him. A day at the range with just you and him a hunting or fishing trip with just the two of you. Something that only you can provide and don't forget to tell him how much he means to you.

GSP,

That is a great idea. I do tell him he means a lot to me all the time, but getting him something that will tell him that every time he sees it would mean a lot.

My sympathies on the loss of your Dad. We lost my Mom just over 4 years ago. I know it is hard.

How about a subscription to GameTraxx?
It's something he doesn't have, and if he hunts, I assure you he will LOVE IT. You can check it out on the GameTraxx thread on this forum..
