Thumbs up Old time Radio Show Website

I enjoy listening to our local station play the old shows and thought I'd google for more.
Found this: http://www.radiolovers.com/ Pretty nice site.
Red Skelton was a real funny guy. He used to visit a nearby city cause he liked their soft pretzels so much. And to visit the peanut bar.

Hey Skinny

Thanx for the link. I grew up listening to those shows. You've taken me back 65 years.

One of my favorites was the Kate Smith show and when she sang "God Bless America". Made the hair on my arms stand up.

Another favorite was "Fibber McGee ad Molly". Every week he'd open that closet and the stuff would come tumbling out and it was still funny.

I loved radio, still do. It's my friend wherever I am.

Thanx Again.

Best wishes, Bill

Thanks for the post on the old radio shows. For me, like others, it was my mainstay when I was a kid. How can you forget the Lone Ranger, Wild Bill Hickcock, Dragnet and all the rest of them.--tr
