mod 97 value??
I have an OLD mod 97. S/N traces it to 1907. 100 years old. It had been used a on the farm from where I got it. 26" cyl choke barrel, blueing worn, Stock cut down. I built it up and put a leather lace up pad on it. They cut the stock down so the kids and the lady fok could use it. They always kept the darn thing for for any 4 legged or 2 legged trouble came by. Can anyone suggest what it might be worth. Irt old but quite servicable, I have used it for grouse hunting and have checked it out for slug shooting, it does quite good.

Coyote Cap is the premier expert on old winchester 97s. He fixes both the clones and the originals up and if ANYBODY knew what it would be worth it would be him. GoodOlBoy

I assume you are refering to Winchester Model 97 Slide Action with visible hammer. Without seeing and by your description it should be worth approximately $300.00 to $400.00 USD. jplonghunter |
