looking for a 38 load
Looking for a load that would work in a 357, or in a 38 snubbie using something like a lasercast 158 grain bullet. I have a full pound of hp38 just sitting around taunting me.

If your looking for plinking loads Bullseye works great. Any where between 2 1/2 to 3 gn. I loaded some for a friend for comation shooting. I loaded 2 1/2 gn. behind a 158 gn. bullet for rapid fire and 3 gn. for the 50 yrd. matches. I used to shoot alot of the 3 gn. loads at can from 60 to 80 yrds.

HP 38 is the same powder as W231, and both Hodgdon and Winchester have many load combos on their websites. The new Hodgdon website is very good, and since they now distribute WW powders, contains data for both.
