Fencing Cart / Clays Cart

First I converted an electric 48 volt Club Car to a clays cart with a rear storage/hauler bed with a tailgate.

Then I built a rack in the back by adding an I bolt to each verticle gun rack, with a 1/2 inch galvanized pipe. for barbed wire, to spin the wire off.

Then I bought a 25 gal electric sprayer from Agri Supply, used it to spray the yard and driveway. Then I used the sprayer with open nozzel to add water to the Sackrete in my fence post holes at the farm. The fence line is 1 mile long.

Now I use the cart as a fencing utility tool hauler. I removed the water tank and built a wood + rack for the back, using 1x4s, 2x4s and a 4x4. I drilled the 4x4 and 2x4 with a 3/4 inch spade bit to mount the spinning jenny horizontal in the bed. I can now mount and spinn off wire from a 4,000 ft roll.

This past weekend my wife and I put in two 14 ft gates with posts, three 12 gates with posts, 20 brace posts and 3 corner post sets with braces including all of the hill and valley posts, plus twisted wire bracing on 15 sets. The sackrete, fourty, 80 pound bags, was all hauled on the cart.

So if you have a cart, just think of it as a small pick-up.

Since writing this post we have finished 1/2 mile of 5 wire high tensile fence using the cart. It works like a champ to haul the wire and all of the tools. This is the photo.
