New Turkeys

After passing through my yard every morning and evening again till 2 wks prior to spring gobbler, looks like they have been busy...here is a photo of them in my side yard...were 3 big hens and lost count of the little tykes..

Thanksgiving?

Looks like Thanksgiving and a little left over for Christmas.

Got a love it, by the time Thanksgiving and Christmas roll around them little ones will be just my size.

Now if'n I could just talk skeeter into an impomptu visit at the appropriate time.

Yep, got them all over the farm here as well, saw one group of about 20 bitties with 3 hens. They are pretty tame right now. Last Saturday I had a big gobbler come up to the travel trailer while I was down by the pond dispatching turtles. I saw him near the gate while I going up the fence line, about a quarter mile out. He flew when I got close enough to see the white/silver head and neck with the 6-10 inch red beard. Nice big Gobbler. Left me a large grey striped feather as a calling card.
