Two Krags are getting new barrels

My nephew and I bought excellent used sporterized Krags that had badly worn barrels. We dropped them off at the local gunsmith and now the wait begins. It may take a year to get them back with new barrels. I can wait. All the best...

.30/40 Krag

Within its limitations, this cartridge is fine for deer. All the best...

It's certainly as capable a deer round as the .30-30 and how many deer fall to it each year!
