the time honored jerky recipe post

Well its been a while since I've posted but what better way to start off than finding some of huntchats favorite and secret deerjerky recipes .... I'm getting a little bored with mine and willing to experiment ... so let's hear it... post away

I've stopped using mine & just went to Hi-Mountain Jerky cure... its awesome.. a few hrs in the Bradley & its ready to go!

I just use the jerky cure now days myself but with an added flavor. I sprinkly McCormicks Broiled Steak seasoning on it as it is put into the drying bin...I guess you could experiment with your favorite seasonings on top for your own added flavor. A little maple maybe or some cajan seasoning..mmmm Just remember to either store in brown paper bag or as I do, in a sealed jar with some crackers in there ..helps keep out mold and moisture....
