My favorite movie, Jeremiah Johnson, has a whole bunch of 'em, but a couple that stand out:

From the movie, Alvin York, "Load her good (to his younger brother) cause we got a long way to paddle." This was at the shooting match for the beef. Also, "Ah shucks Alvin, it was not meant to be."

From "Paths of Glory" (WWI French film with Kirk Douglas): "The firing squad will be a tonic to the men."
