Military Parts

I picked up a Spanish 1916 Short Rifle with all matching numbers and a beautiful bore. Unfortunately, The band spring holding the front barrel band was missing. I called several of the well known military parts houses without success. I then call Springfield Sporters (they have a website) in western Pennsylvania. I used to live and work in the area and have visited their sprawling facility in the past. They had exactly what I needed to complete the 1916 Short Rifle and were less costly they other places. Just passing along the information if you need to find gun parts. All the best...

Military parts

I ordered two band springs which came today and both were in excellent condition. It took about two minutes to install the band spring. All the best...
