ANZAC DAY- 90 Years since Galipolli Landings
On April 25th 90 years ago to the day, the newly formed ANZAC's (Australian-New Zealand Army Corps) land 1 mile short of itsss beach objective of Suvla Bay due to a British navigational cock up. Despite the mistake the orders were to push forward and take the objecives now up to 5 miles away. The names of the fallen are under this link http://www.anzacs.org/ ANZAC Day and how we commemorate April 25th. Also has more information that will enlighten some of you. http://www.awm.gov.au/commemoration/anzac/ Please visit the links and learn something about one of your Allies who as I speak is now commiting more troops to Iraq to fill the void and role the Dutch Army was supposed to be doing. Lest We Forget.
