Billy,
I am an accountant/CPA too. That was my undergrag degree. Accounting is a lot less fun than law. When you mention Aberdeen Proving Ground, are you talking about the one in northern Maryland? I have a couple of buddies that work there as engineers and I am pretty familiar with it.
