What kind of footprint was that?

While hunting moose and elk around Grand Cache Alberta.In a logged out area I came across a huge puddle about 30' x15'.In the middle of the puddle I could see one bare footprint smack dab in the middle.Not exactly huge,maybe like a wide size 14.Now this print had been all covered with a green algi.I called over my buddy and asked him what kind of print this was.He said he didn't know.So I asked him if he thought it might be big foot.Again he said I don't know.To this day I still give my head a shake when ever I think about it.It was such wierd feeling yet exciting.Anyone else ever seen anything strange like this.
