First internet rifle purchase

Well it finally happened. I saw some military rifles for sale on an internet site and started sending emails. I was focused on a Kar98k reworked by Yugoslavia in mint condition with matching numbers. I haggled over the price and got it down a bit. Then I sent a local dealer's FFL and a check. Yesterday, I picked up the rifle and did the 4473 and the background check. The gun is exactly as described, everything matches and it has an original sling.

It was a bit of a stretch for me and a crap shoot, but everything worked out just fine. I am not eager to repeat the process. Anyone else have an internet purchase experiences? All the best...
