VA Deer Harvest on New Check-in..

Everything from deer to turkey was down last yr..

Deer 6% (firearm) *44% was checked in w/ the new "Got Game" call in system*

Archery was 7% of the deer kill..loader was 22%.
As you can tell...we aint big on bowhuntin here lol..
Anyways..when yer talkin bout 235,000 deer..the decrease was 15,000 deer. (more er less)

I have seen alot of deer the past few yrs..maybe people aint huntin as much? Naw..kinda hard to believe..I think some of it is def. the new system tho...our county had a deer kill of 1,990 deer..so that's an average in my county of 6 deer per square mile. That aint bad..I've been seen a TON of deer this year, and alotta bucks too. Dam..I'm gittin the huntin jitters somethin terrible. New job er not..my butt is takin off and goin huntin!!!
Anyways..i just wonder how much of the decrease can be contributed to the new checkin system...

Oh..we got 1,130 bear last yr..and I know where some PRIME bear huntin is..might take off to do that too...Good Lord Lilred..shutup.....
