New Orleans/ Gulf Coast/ Total Disaster

Can't believe it, the whole city is basically gone. All the relatives down there are literally homeless. Some went to Houston, some are in Lafayette, some have gone to Birmingham and others I have no idea where they are and no one has talked to them though we know they did leave. The three in Lafayette will be coming up here to stay with me for a while. They lived in Kenner and the water was at their front door this morning and getting higher. Told me it got real bad and that the people were really getting scary. My Father in law on the West Bank in Gretna refused to leave his house. Either he was rescued and is in a shelter or he is dead. His house has flooded before and this time it went completely under. He's a resourceful guy so there is always hope but he wasn't in the best of health. My prayers go out to all those people from the whole region. Can't imagine what I would do if it happened to me. May God look after all of them. take care all and please put a few words in for everyone hit by the storm.
