I hear what you are saying, but 645,000 pistols is far more than the need for just Special OPs, SEALS, DELTA and Green Berets. With 135,000 +/- troops in Iraq, 645,000 pistols would be enough to give 5 pistols to EVERY soldier. Nah, that is not logical, is it? It seems there is a service wide re-equipping afoot.

I do applaud the decision to "get enough gun."
