Buddy at work has one and loves it. His is 30/30. I think he wanted an assault rifle combined with a hunting rifle. I have a pistol that's longer than his rifle. I have a regular model 94 in 30/30. I like the 44 mag. in rifles. Under 100 yds. I think the 44 mag offers more than the 30/30.
