A good pulley, a length of rope and a piece of plywood is all you need to get your deer into the back of your truck.

I think there are still stake pockets in the front of a pick up box???

Hook the pulley into the stake pocket. Run rope thru pulley. Tie off one end to something solid the other end to deer that is started up on the plywood. Slowly drive ahead.

Deer goes into pickup.

A block and tackle would do the same thing. I hung my 100 lb buck up in the tree with ease using my old fence streacher the other day.
