40gr bullets in the 200

just thought i do an update.

been loading for the 220 tried slew of difrent flavour 55gr bullets like bergers sierra and vmaxes. all these have been shooting plenty good.

however i was drawn to the velocities numbers useing 40gr bullets. i picked up some 40gr nosler bts and loaded them on top of h380 powder and win mag primers.

ounce i made it to test loads i quickly realized that 40gr bullets might be were i want to be with velocitiy number guestimated at over 4000 and groups smaller than the 55gr bullet loads.

this things shooting string tight and acurate with back to back 6grd groups till the barrles hot.

this got me contemplating 35gr vmaxes but i figure theres no reason to realy go there.
