Yeah that was day 1 at the beach. I'm a bit more colored now.
It was a fun trip, but 7 days was pretty long for the 2 youngsters. We never got a drop of rain except on Saturday night about 11:00 PM between Richmond and DC on the way home.. It was a pretty massive rainstorm, I'm sure you recall? the 3 - 4 lanes were down to about 30 mph with whipers as fast as they could go. Kids slept the whole 7.5 hr trip up and back. Nice leaving at night. Cool thing is next year I get to select the vacation, so guess who's going to Yellowstone! ha ha
