The addicts box. . . .

Being that I am in the mood to discuss anything and everything having to do with guns and hunting (IE I am jonesing for some squirrel hunting) I thought I would bring up my addicts box that sits beside my old single shot H&R 20 gauge single shot with a modified choke at the house.

It consists of a .50 caliber ammo can containing the following.

100 rounds (4 boxes) of Winchester SuperX #6 2 3/4 inch Heavy loads.
30 rounds (2 boxes) of Winchester 2 3/4 inch 3/4 oz rifled HP slugs.
4 rounds (1 box minus 1 from deer season before last) Winchester 2 3/4 inch #2 Buck. (Can't find these anymore all I can find is #4s )

1 can of 3in1 household oil in a ziplock bag
1 oily rag in a ziplock bag
1 Camillus Dura-StagŪ Two-Blade Folding Hunter (#26)

I am thinking about adding a few more shells to it if I can squeeze them in. Might even move to one of the old grenade boxes I have around the house who knows.

Anyway this is the "Hey buddy you want to go hunting in 10 minutes at (insert name/place here)?" box. 100 rounds of shot keeps me good for squirrel, coon, rabbit, possum, dove, quail, etc. 30 rounds of slugs keeps me good for deer and hog. And the buckshot. . . . . I had to put it someplace. But anyway.

I don't buy 3" nothing anymore because I just don't have to.

Anybody else have a box and gun combo sitting around like this?
