Another Funeral
Buried another of my coworkers today at Ft Logan. CUD was Nam vet...Honor Guard was VFW...vets of WW11..............guys in 80's...sad, those in the middle no longer care...............
After first volley, guy on right..03's, dropped his rifle......tears streaming down face for doing this................I got out of chair, picked up rifle handed it back with comment..."please carry on sir".......guy took rifle and proceeded with out another bobble..... Sad is that people of our own age group do NOT getting involved in this! Granted, a lot of bad memories are involved..... Man, we cannot expect the old guard to carry on forever!We have got to get involved Dan RIP A1c Clyde Everly
