Got back my old-old Savage 24

Well it's good/bad

I fired one 20ga dove shot, and the firing pin came loose today.

BUT the .22 MAG still shot tight tiny groups.

Any tips on how to fix the pin, I suspect the firing pin spring came loose or broke.......I would like to fix it myself.
