One down and one to go
Well, it has come to that time, when we must get new glasses. In this case, get rid of the glasses entirely, again. First I had the Lasik surgery then after 12 years started having problems. Went back to glasses and had problems seeing through the center of my rifle scopes. Doc said I have early onset cataracts as a result of the original lasik surgery. Hummm, that was not a subject when I had the lasik done.
So on Monday we went in and had our left lens removed and a new synthetic lens put in its place. Today, Wednesday, I am starting to see pretty good out of my bionic eye, with yet a few days to go (4-7 days total) for 100% recovery, we hope, without any complications. Today I got the call from the doc's office and we are set for the 21st to have the right eye "fixed." Interesting how they go about the process today, just replace the eye's lens with a high quality optical and you are good to go. Just like a production line, in my case 4 folks on the beds with four waiting for a warm bed, and so on. Now we will see how the change effects my shooting, if at all. I shoot pretty good still and decided to get his done before I needed a seeing eye dog. Ed
