Thanks everyone.
When I grew up, my father had a couple of guns, but never shot them.. or hunted for that matter. He did buy me a Remington 1100 in 12 ga when I was 15 and expressed an interest in hunting. I hate to admit it, but as a youngster, with those guns being off limits to me, they were always very tempting and I did sneak them out without him knowing it. Luckily, no one was injured from it. But because of that, I have been a firm believer in raising my children around my guns. They don't have access to them, but they are always invited to shoot whenever I get the chance, and they have handled all of them . I would rather have them raised responsably around them, and it not be a big deal to sneak one out and possibly show it off. (there all locked in a safe, so that can't happen).
Sorry for getting off on a tangent, but just a few of my reasonings on guns and kids. My wife is another story... she doesn't mind the guns too much, but told me last night DO NOT send the pictures to her parents as they woudl go ballistic.
I may just do it for some fun
