Man down..my brother in law
Well, I just found out that my brother in law was killed in Iraq. He was a Stryker crew-member. His Stryker was on a routine patrol when a device (we don't quite know if it was a roadside bomb, mortar, or exactly what it was) blew up next to them. He took shrapnel in the neck and died shortly thereafter. You can watch the news every night and feel bad for the men and women dying everyday, but until it happens to someone in your family you don't realize how "real" it is. This was his second tour in Iraq and the first one went off without a hitch. As I said, I don't know the details, yet. My father in law only found out today. I'm going to talk to him tomorrow or this weekend when they know more. His wife is my wife's sister and I'm dreading telling her as they are very close. Please remember Frankie in your prayers. Thank you.
Mike
