The one that got away. In the gun shop today a fellow came in saying he needed money and wanted to know what a gun was worth. He opened a gun case and inside was a full military Winchester 1917 Enfield. I looked it over and it was NRA excellent. He said he bought a storage shed off a neighbor and when he picked it up, the rifle was inside. The shop owner offered $250 and the chap balked. I asked if he would take $300. He declined the offers and left the shop. I hate it when that happens. I sure hope he comes back. All the best...
