My 300 Weatherby has a muzzle break. Recoil is light but noise is great! When I'm out target shooting I wear ear protection so no big deal. When I shot my elk I didn't even hear my shot (no ear protection) I know, still not good for the ears. Huh, what did you say
 Anyhow if the recoil bothers you consider a break.Popeyes must do more than tuck you into bed I wouldn't insult you with a McPuk like TD  Ok I'll throw in a years supply of ManBeef (there goes my neighbors again).Beat that TD  muledeer
