local news cast in Ind.

Last night on WEHT News 25 in the Owensboro area they did a story about a gobbler that was in the city limits of Evansville, IN. They talked to a guy who is a turkey hunter, real "refined", and they showed footage of this turkey up in a tree in this neighborhood. Good piece. Well, at the end of it the newscaster made the comment that "on another note, Turkey season is opening in Indiana on Wednesday"....and she left it at that, nothing negative.

Then, this is the good part, its time for the sports. And the sportscaster, his name is Lance Wilkerson, starts the sports by saying how horrible it is that season is coming in, and just really kinda rolled his eyes at hunting. Said something about "that poor little guy" and sighed real big after making his anti-hunting remark.

I'm sure everyone on here has seen this from some form of media before, but this is the first time I saw it on a local level. The good thing is, drum roll please, I have his e-mail address if anyone is interested in commenting on his performance last night. I sent him one just to remind him of how diverse his viewing audience is, I also sent one to the programming director to remind HER how diverse her audience is.
