My First 270

I have acquired my first 'Yugo'. (270)

No, I didnt run out and buy one. I took it in on a bond that the guy couldnt come up with enough money to get out of jail. Granted, its not one of my favorite rifles or calibers, but I didnt allow him much for it either. Along with a Rem Auto 30-06 and a CVA inline Muzzy. I allowed $500 for all three combined. Too much?

Its a Remington Pump model 760 or 7600, not sure of the model, Ill have to look again and its at the office. Its in almost perfect condition.

Whats yalls take on these rifles. I know how Model 70 feels about the cartridge, but how about the gun? Is it worth keeping or should I find someone to give me the money that I allowed for it and let it roll?

I thought if it will shoot halfway decent, it may be alright to keep around for a spare in case someone has bad luck during season or a friend from out of town needs a loaner.
