Where'd ya get it?
Well, there's a lot of new folks on this board so I figured I'd start the "Where'd you get your handle?" thread. Partly because I'm a nosy SOB, but mostly because it's fun.
"Tater" started about 11 years ago when I got to my first duty station in Anchorage, Alaska. My last name is Couch and a couple of the guys I worked with took to callin me Couch Potatoe. After a while, it got shortened to Couch Tater and then, just Tater. After that, it stuck. It's even on my license plate. So, come on. spill. How did you come up with your handle? We have ways of finding out, so you better just come clean now and save your dignity. Here goes
