Student suspended because his Mom called from Iraq

Can you believe this? This kid is talking to his Mom during lunch. His Mom is in Iraq, which as we all know, sometimes folks don't come back from. Some azzhat teacher tells him he can't talk on the phone, the end result is him being suspended for 10 days.

There aren't too many reasons to resort to physical violence, but this is one. If I was the kid or the parent, some one would have been getting a beat down. For a school official to act in such a callous manner just screams for an azz kicking.
